Laura Lombardi is the author of The Summer She Stayed, forthcoming from Sourcebooks Landmark in Spring 2027.

She has worked in the publishing industry for over 15 years and is currently an Associate Director of Publicity at HarperCollins (as Laura Gianino), where she proudly champions some of the best books and writers in the business.

 

Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Indiana Review, The Rumpus, and elsewhere.​

 

She lives on the Jersey Shore, which gets a bad rap. Still, she feels compelled to tell you that she previously lived in New York City for a decade.
